My Role
I was the sole UI/UX designer for the Konec Mobile project, responsible for both the website and mobile app. I worked closely with the development team and project manager, successfully launching the website on August 15, 2022 and the Konec Mobile app thereafter.
My role began with reviewing the website function document provided by the project manager. From there, I translated it into a structured sitemap, user flow diagrams, and high-fidelity prototypes. The project involved fast-paced iterations, as functional pages were frequently adjusted due to changes in the APIs used during development. Throughout the process, the project manager reviewed my work to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Introduction
Konec Mobile is an Australian telecommunications provider that offers a range of mobile services and devices. When I worked there, the company provided prepaid SIM plans, unlocked phones, prepaid phones, and smart home devices. The prepaid plans had no lock-in contracts, allowing customers to keep their existing number or choose a new one, and they included unlimited standard calls and SMS.
Konec Mobile operated on the Telstra Wholesale Mobile Network, covering over 98.8% of the Australian population with 4G and 5G services. The company also offered features like Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Wi-Fi calling for better call quality and coverage. Customers could manage their services through the Konec Mobile app, available on Google Play and the App Store.
